With the Corporate Sports Network (CSN) football season reaching its halfway mark, the race for the 2026 championship has developed into one of the most competitive in recent years.
After 15 rounds of action, only a handful of points separate the leading contenders, setting the stage for an exciting second half of the campaign.
Graphics Systems sits at the top of the standings with 39 points from 15 matches, continuing an impressive run built on consistency and disciplined performances. However, the leaders have no room for complacency as they look to take the football crown from ‘noisy neighbours’ Quality Chemical Industries Limited (QCIL)
Perennial title challengers Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) remain firmly in contention. The tax collectors occupy second place with 38 points but have played one game fewer than the leaders, giving them the opportunity to leapfrog Graphics Systems if they capitalise on their game in hand.
The chasing pack is equally formidable. Centenary Bank, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) and DTB Bank are all locked on 37 points after 15 matches, underlining just how competitive this year’s title race has become.
Vision Group is also breathing down the leaders’ necks with 36 points and remains well within striking distance as the season enters its decisive phase.
With six teams separated by just a few points, every fixture from this stage onwards carries enormous significance. A single victory or defeat could dramatically reshape the title race.

iversity Rugby Grounds, promises several mouth-watering encounters that could influence both the championship battle and the relegation fight.
Among the headline fixtures are:
Platinum Credit vs Mutual
Centenary Bank vs Coca-Cola Beverages Africa
Vision Group vs Case Hospital
Uganda Revenue Authority vs Uganda Civil Aviation Authority
The clash between URA and UCAA is undoubtedly the standout fixture of the round, with both teams chasing maximum points in their pursuit of the league leaders. Equally intriguing will be Centenary Bank’s encounter against Coca-Cola Beverages Africa as the bankers seek to keep pace with the front-runners.
At the opposite end of the table, the battle for survival is becoming increasingly intense. DHL Logistics remains rooted in the relegation zone with 10 points, while Housing Finance Bank (12 points), Rene Industries Limited (13 points) and Africa Global Logistics (14 points) are also fighting to avoid the drop. With plenty of football still to be played, these teams will be desperate to turn their fortunes around before it is too late.
