The Corporate Sports Network returns for its highly anticipated second outing, this time shifting the spotlight to the gritty and energetic grounds of Luzira Prisons Grounds, home of Maroons FC.
After an exciting opening round at the former Legends Rugby Grounds, companies are gearing up for another day of fast-paced football, tactical battles and moments of brilliance.
Teams will be looking to build momentum, settle old scores and stamp their authority early on as they look to dislodge last year’s winners, Quality Chemicals Industry Limited.
In some of the day’s mouthwatering fixtures, Centenary Bank will be looking to avenge the defeat they suffered at the hands of Vision Group in the last outing, which dented their hopes for a trophy in the normal games. In other games, Uganda Revenue Authority will look to test their mettle against debutants Old Mutual; Case Hospital will play Absa Bank, while Hotel Africana will play Platinum Credit.
According to CSN’s technical team, there will also be draws for the 35+ managers’ games in the morning of the outing, and games will also be played during the outing. Centenary Bank are the defending champions of the managers’ games after they defeated NSSF by 2-0 in the finals last year.
Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) and Graphic Systems are the early leaders after winning all their games during the first outing. They are closely followed by defending champions Quality Chemicals Industry Limited, NSSF, Centenary Bank, Vision Group and Hotel Africana.
With passionate supporters, vibrant networking, and the ever-growing camaraderie that defines the Corporate Sports Network, this second outing promises not just goals and glory, but another powerful reminder that sport remains one of the strongest connectors in the corporate world.
