The CSN 2025 season finale is upon us. On Sunday, 30 November, there will be no room for error as the season comes to a close with teams fighting for top honours.
Going into the final games, Quality Chemical Industries Limited, Uganda Revenue Authority, defending champions Tropical Bank and Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) are strong contenders to win the football trophy.
According to the General Manager of the Corporate Sports Network (CSN), Mr Charles Ssempagala, the final outing, which was due to happen at the Maroons Grounds in Luzira Prison, has been moved to a more accessible and central location, the former Legends Rugby Grounds in Lugogo.
He reveals that games to be contested include normal soccer, the 35+ soccer finals and the tug-of-war finals. He reveals that with up to five teams vying for the top spot in normal soccer, fixtures between these sides will happen concurrently to rule out any syndicate.
Sempagala was particularly grateful to the sponsor of the outing, Uganda Breweries Limited (Guinness), and also congratulated the teams that participated this season.
“On behalf of Corporate Sports Network, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of the companies for their outstanding participation in this season’s events. Whether on the field, court, or track, your dedication, sportsmanship, and team spirit have been truly inspiring,” Sempagala said.
He revealed that the season has been a testament to the power of teamwork, friendly competition, and the shared joy of staying active.
“You’ve not only helped make this season a success, but you’ve also fostered a vibrant community where colleagues can come together, connect, and challenge one another in the spirit of fun,” he said.
