DJ Munagah has the diva looks, and one could easily mistake her for a slay queen out to have a good time.

When she walked in at the Corporate Sports Network (CSN) outing on Sunday, in a micro mini skirt and cleavage-baring top, she looked like one who was just out for proggie.  – Then she made way for the turntables.

Fingers on the controls, eyes fixed on the mixing software and the crowd, the visibly shy DJ Munagah, who sipped on Singleton for “Dutch Courage,” strung together beats that left the crowd in awe of her mastery.

The crowd, including famed DJ Robbie, who was the day’s emcee, warmed up to her set. Others, like the CSN resident DJ Busagwa, commented that the outing was “fire” courtesy of the guest female DJ.

DJ Munagah created an explosive atmosphere, remixing and juggling different music genres.  For one who identifies as a live mix DJ and curator, she was able to blend music from a variety of music genres while cutting across multiple eras.

The energy in the venue surged as the audience listened  to the infectious beats, completely immersed in the vibrant atmosphere. With each transition, DJ Munagah effortlessly captivated her listeners, leaving them eager for more as the night unfolded. She had something for everyone, whether it was 90’s hardcore dancehall or Queen Sheebah Karungi’s latest song, Somebody.

“I can do everything. I can mix, and I can beat-match. I can assess the energy level of music,” she said.

Her  dazzling performance not only left the crowd active but also kept them active until past 8:00 pm, when she left. As the last notes faded, the audience erupted into cheers, their excitement palpable in the cool evening air. With a broad smile, DJ Munagah waved goodbye, already planning her next set, knowing that her unique blend of genres had created an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
