The event will now take place at the former Gems Cambridge University grounds in Butabika, replacing the initially planned Maroons Grounds in Luzira, which is a stone’s throw away.
Mr Charles Ssempagala, the CSN General Manager, cited unavoidable circumstances beyond their control as the reason for the change, emphasising that the adjustment is necessary to ensure the event proceeds smoothly for all participating companies.
All other event details remain unchanged. Activities will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will include normal soccer, 35+ soccer, and netball. The outing will continue to focus on entertainment, networking, marketing, branding, and team bonding.” Mr Ssempagala said.
The Corporate Sports Network Secretariat acknowledged that the change may disrupt prior logistics and transport plans and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
Managers of the teams are urged to promptly inform players and company staff of the new venue, which hosted some outings last year. We shall share a pin location for the updated venue, and teams that require urgent assistance with transport or directions can contact the Secretariat directly. Despite the late adjustment, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering a successful and memorable outing for all participants,” he concluded.
