The Corporate Sports Network (CSN) has postponed its much-anticipated May outing that had been scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Jeph International University following the recent Ebola outbreak in the country.

In an official statement released by CSN Management, the decision was reached after extensive consultations with the police, the Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders.

According to the statement, the Ministry of Health has issued a circular restricting mass gatherings within the Kampala Metropolitan Area and other high-risk districts as part of ongoing measures to contain the spread of the Ebola virus disease.

“The health, safety and well-being of our players, fans and everyone associated with the league remains our top priority,” the statement reads in part.

CSN further announced that other upcoming outings, including swimming and pool table events slated for the first week of June at Hotel Africana, have also been postponed until further notice.

The postponement is expected to affect several corporate teams, managers, players and fans who had been preparing for the sporting and networking activities.

Management, however, appealed for calm and understanding from stakeholders as authorities continue efforts to curb the outbreak.

“We appreciate your understanding, cooperation and continued support during this period,” CSN management said.

New dates for the affected events are expected to be communicated once the situation improves and public health authorities give the green light for mass gatherings to resume.
