The annual Corporate Sports Network dinner unfolded in an atmosphere of refined elegance and celebration on Saturday night, drawing corporates from 36 companies to an evening dedicated to recognising outstanding achievement.

Some arrived in sleek tuxedos, flowing gowns and timeless accessories.

After nine months of intense competitions in various sports disciplines, it was time to reward the best. Hotel Africana was the overall best, followed by Centenary Bank and DFCU Bank.  Several other companies picked up different gongs for winning in different disciplines. Among them was Vision Group, which excelled in woodball.

Guests at CSN dinner on Saturday 6 December at Hotel AfricanaFollowing a gourmet dinner curated by Hotel Africana’s renowned chefs, the awards ceremony commenced. Applause filled the room as each honouree took the stage to accept their accolades.

Singer Karole Kasita put up an energetic performance at Hotel Africana For some, like Quality Chemicals Industry Limited (football winners), the excitement was too much; they danced to Kapeke’s song Kaba, which has been christened “Tema Ensingo”. Special recognition was given to the outgoing executive, who also received emblazoned plaques specially offered by sponsor Guinness.

Singer Karole Kasiita, accompanied by backup dancers, put up a captivating performance that had many corporates dance to her songs like Chekecha, Balance, Yaka and Binyuma, among others.

Astra Corporate Sports Network Board Chairman Mike Kajubi revealed that for the 2026 season, up to 50 companies are expected to participate.

Guests mingled between segments, creating an atmosphere of connection, but they failed to do justice to the drinks.  Close to midnight, Hotel Africana declared winners; attendees belched as they departed with a sense of purpose, pride and good memories written on their beaming faces.
