Everything is in place for the Corporate Sports Network 2025 season to begin and for corporate networking and branding to be celebrated.” These were the words of the General Manager of the Astra Corporate Sports Network, Mr. Charles Sempagala, with just days to the start of the 2025 competitions at the Maroons Luzira Prison Grounds on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
In an interview with the website, Ssempagala says the initial outing will have the companies contest in normal football games as they seek to dislodge last season’s winners, Tropical Bank. “Because it is the first outing, we shall only have normal soccer games. The 35-plus games will be contested in March alongside other disciplines,” he said.

He reveals that the technical arm of CSN is finalising online registration of participants, and team managers are encouraged to carry the lists of the players on Sunday. He revealed that plans were underway to share a registration template with the managers ahead of the outing.
About the setup at the venue, Ssempagala says that for those companies that wish to set up, the Luzira Grounds will be open on Saturday evening, 22 February 2025, at 5pm.
Talking about this anticipation, Sempagala said, “The emotions are building up, and I hope that fans are ready to turn up in large numbers to watch the games this season and provide the hype and emotion that such games can provide.”
