A year with new beginnings and one to look back at with the birth of Corporate Sports Network on 13th January 2024 and launched in March 2024.

Started with maiden outing on Sunday, 25th March 2024, accompanied by a bunch of assurances from CSN Chairman Mr Simeon Kauma Bulezi

“I would like to inform you that we are here to ensure that the pertinent needs of the participants are given priority.”

Concluded that “We are accountable and ensuring that the expectations of participating members are met.”

And one would triumphantly say that not all goes to plan, but at least the biggest part has turned out perfect as expected.

With over thirty (30) companies at the start, more joined the network along the way to participate in different games like football 7-aside, netball, basketball, volleyball, swimming, pool, athletics, fun games, and tug of war, which took place at the Luzira Prison Grounds, MUBS Play Ground, and Hotel Africana.

The season climaxed with a dinner held on Saturday, 7th December 2024, at SilverSprings in Bugolobi. Only praises and thanks were sang to the well-organised maiden annual event to round up action-packed outings and the committee that served all the corporates throughout the games.

“Given the event’s name, ‘Corporate Sports Network,’ how might the winners’ victories translate into real-world corporate advantages, and could this event be seen as a strategic networking opportunity rather than just a sports competition?
